Years ago, in a past life, when I trained Border Collies and traveled the country competing in sheepdog trials, I was sort of known for saying yes. Folks would invite back me to their home in the middle of "nowhere" to visit and work dogs and I'd say yes when few others would.
So when a couple of my best friends mentioned that they were going to AIPAD, Association of International Photography Art Dealers, in New York City and asked if I wanted to tag along ... Well of course I said yes.
New York City was the perfect place for me to combine my love of architecture with my passion for Long Exposure Photography.
The was my first trip to the city and I confess that I absolutely fell in love with New York City.
I confess that spent precious little time at the AIPAD show as I just couldn't stop walking around Manhattan and Brooklyn exploring and taking photos.
I ended this glorious week of playing big city tourist by waking early and riding the Staten Island Ferry back and forth for hours watching the sun come up over the Big Apple.
