As I mentioned over on my blog, my camera gear philosophy is to carry the absolute best equipment that I can afford and barely manage to schlep to my destination. And overnight Backpacking Photography pushes that philosophy to the limit. But by culling hard and really focusing in on my photographic goals I've assembled a lightweight kit, a bit shy of 10 lbs, that doesn't sacrifice quality. And this is especially important as many of these trips are not without a wee bit of effort and end at a stunning destination.
This is essentially a scaled down and highly refined subset of my full Landscape Photography Kit.
